Stan Tug 1606 "MTS Vulcan 2"

In February 2012, the Stan 1606 Tug 'MTS Vulcan 2' was delivered to her owner MTS Marine & Towage Services Group. Earlier in April 2011, a similar vessel, 'MTS Vulcan', was delivered to the same owner. The 'MTS Vulcan 2' is the first Stan 1606 Tug to be fitted with a towing winch. With an open stern and a deck crane she is suitable for simple anchor handling duties. Real funnels were also installed to improve the air quality for crew working on the aft deck and an A-frame was fitted for plough dredging.
