Holland Class Ocean Going Patrol Vessel 3750 "Friesland"

On April 2011, 2012 in Harlingen the third of four Holland Class Ocean Going Patrol Vessels, ‘Friesland’ built by Damen Schelde Naval Shipbuilding for the Royal Netherlands Navy, was transferred to the Defence Material Organisation of the Ministry of Defence of the Netherlands. The four OPVs are equipped to conduct maritime security operations including monitoring shipping, boarding operations and carrying out patrol duties.

The Damen Offshore Patrol Vessel for a wide variety of tasks in regions where there is a low-level of threat.
