DOP250 with sand mining head

A DOP250 dredge pump has been delivered to Italy. It will work, attached to a wire crane, on a major beach nourishment job on Tuscan beaches. Due to coastal erosion beaches need to be widened hence sand is mined offshore. The DOP250 loosens the sediment and pumps the sand to the beach where it is dispersed using bulldozers.
