Combi Freighter 8200 "Tide Navigator"

The multi-purpose vessel ‘Trade Navigator’ was handed over to owner FWN Trade BV in December 2013. Built at Damen Yichang Shipyard, she was delivered after commissioning and successful sea trials off Shanghai. The vessel is the fourth in a series of 8,200 tonne MPP vessels of which three were delivered to Forestwave Navigation in Heerenveen.

Typical for multi-purpose vessels is the multi-port visits that they make to load and discharge partial cargoes efficiently. This vessel’s maiden voyage involved a ‘cargo collecting’ trip to Japan, before heading back to China, followed by a stopover in Indonesia and then a final voyage to European waters
