ASD Tugs 2813 "Ocean Kitsilano" and "Ocean Granville"

Damen Shipyards has delivered two ASD Tugs 2813 to Canadian client Ocean Groupe. The vessels were tailored to the customer’s specific requirements and delivered in record time. Groupe Ocean placed the order of the two vessels in June 2019 and Damen was able to deliver the vessels in October the same year.

Damen’s ability to deliver the vessels in such a short timeframe is related to the shipbuilder’s philosophy of standardised shipbuilding in series; when orders are taken, in many cases the vessels are already under construction or on stock.
